Spring in Seagrove

The kilns are fired up and shops are open! Spring is when Seagrove comes alive with its history and tradition. Pottery studios throughout the area open their doors to visitors looking to explore galleries, meet local artists, and discover handcrafted pieces inspired by the season.

Plan your trip to Seagrove over two dedicated pottery weekends:

March 14th, Tea with Seagrove Potters: Six Seagrove pottery shops have partnered with Carriage House Tea and The Table, both of Asheboro, and Seagrove Cafe to provide a flavor filled tour for Tea with Seagrove Potters. Each shop will feature tea from Carriage House Tea and pastries from The Table and Seagrove Cafe, as well as homemade treats for visitors to sample. See the latest wares from the kilns, visit with the potters, and learn about how they use their wares to bake, brew, cook, serve and decorate.

April 17- 19th, Celebration of Spring Pottery Tour: This special 18th annual event is a self-guided tour of individual pottery galleries, studios, and workshops in Seagrove. The tour is held at participating shops in the Seagrove area. Go behind the scenes to experience the process first-hand and have the unique opportunity to meet the artists before buying handmade pottery to take home and enjoy.
