The Heart of North Carolina is fully embracing Counting Miracles.

In a review of the book, Ron Charles of the Washington Post describes the book as offering the comfort of a weighted blanket and a warm cup of tea. Downtown Asheboro is home to three women-owned businesses who create and sell their own teas: Carriage House TeaThe Table, and The Black Lantern Tea Room. Tea Time Magazine, the authority for tea lovers in the USA and UK wrote about these "Tea Mavens" in a 2023 story.

Inspired by the book and her hometown, Mary Murkin at Carriage House Tea blended Citrus Miracles Green Tea. She started with zesty citrus and green tea because of their contributions to good health. She spiked the blend with apple, lemon, lime and chamomile.

“The tea is buttery and bright, like delicious little miracles in your cup,” Mary says. Order the tea online, the $6 packet of loose tea makes 10 cups. Carriage House Tea ships inside the USA.
