Nestled in the outskirts of both Charlotte and Raleigh lays a county full of potential. Randolph County is one for all people and all ages. With countless hours of fun that lay across the county, your journey awaits in the Heart of North Carolina. First stop on your adventure into Randolph County is to Brewskie’s. Located in Downtown Asheboro, Brewskie's is the perfect way to start the day. Stop in to grab some delicious coffee and grab a tasty bakery item from the extensive list. Sit out on the patio and take in the beautiful start to the day. We recommend the delicious iced chai tea late with the fresh warmed blueberry muffin. If you stop in later in the day, also try their craft beer, wine, sandwiches, flatbreads and so much more.

 

Morning Walk: Downtown Asheboro

After brunch at Brewskie’s, it’s time to do a bit of shopping in Downtown Asheboro. Whether your looking for antiques, memorabilia , collectibles, or modern artwork you’ll find the one of a kind item that you’ve been looking for.

 

Lunch: Franklinville Diner

For lunch let’s take a trip up to the northern part of the county. Check out Franklinville Dinner and their Pimento Cheeseburger for an amazing lunch time meal. Make sure to save room for the grilled pound cake which is truly one of a kind. Make sure you fill up good because our afternoon adventure is going to require some fuel. 

 

Afternoon: Deep River State Rail Trail

After a great lunch, it’s time to go for an adventure at the Deep River State Trail. Explore the 1.5 mile trail created from an old railroad bed or the 3/4 mile loop full of recreational activities including fishing, jogging, biking and so much more.

 

 

Dinner: The Flying Pig

After a wonderful afternoon spent reconnecting to nature, it’s time to refuel for the day. Try out The Flying Pig. They have a wonderful selection of pizza, sandwiches, and all around great food. This is a great spot for a date night, quick bite to eat and everything in between.
