ASHEBORO, NC - The Heart of North Carolina Visitors Bureau is now distributing copies of its new 2011 Official Heart of North Carolina Visitor Guides.
This year's guide features new creative with two versions. The Asheboro cover features several attractions in Asheboro and furniture shopping is featured on the Archdale cover. The 30-page guide showcases 56 things to see and do, 16 accommodations, and the only complete directory of Seagrove pottery shops and galleries in Randolph County. Other sections include: About the Area, Festivals & Events, Local Dining, Distinctive Shopping, Area Map, and At Your Service.
"We could not produce this guide without the support of our partners and stakeholders throughout the county" said O'Kelley. "They work very hard to assist us in the annual collection of information."
Guides are available now at the Visitors Bureau in its location inside the Randolph County Historic Courthouse at 145-B Worth Street in downtown Asheboro. The Visitors Bureau is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 p.m. For assistance, contact Vicki Bloxham, office and visitor services coordinator at (336) 626-0364, ext 201. Bloxham will arrange appointments for museums, attractions, pottery shops, restaurants, and other tourism related partners to pick up the 2011 Official Heart of North Carolina Visitor Guide on Wednesday, February 9th between the hours of 9 am - 12 pm and 2 - 4 pm.
