Asheboro, NC - The Heart of NC Visitors Bureau will begin a new discount card program in the summer of 2012. The Heart of NC Premier Card aims to encourage visitors to shop, eat, and play during their visit. A staff member will solicit tourism partners including local dining and distinctive shopping establishments, and museums and attractions featured in the 2012 Official Heart of NC Visitors Guide within the next month.

This program follows the guidelines of fundraising discount cards offered by area schools and civic organizations. There will be no charge to the partner for this form of free advertising and promotion, only a signed agreement to honor the discount as printed on the card - more than likely the card will be valid for a year.

The Heart of NC Premier Card and list of participants will be distributed at all local hotels in Archdale and Asheboro as well as through visitor requests on our website, HeartofNorthCarolina.com.

For any questions or concerns regarding this exciting opportunity, please contact Amber Williams, Tourism Coordinator at the Heart of NC Visitors Bureau, 336-626-0364.
