The event closes with a sampling of fresh pastries and coffee courtesy of The Table. The event costs $5 and seating is limited. A pre-registration is required for this event. The registration deadline is Thursday, October 9. Tickets are available at the Randolph Arts Guild located at 123 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. The Table Farmhouse Bakery recently celebrated their first anniversary of operating a smart, community focused, creative dining establishment. According to one of the owners, Dustie Gregson, it is time to open up to the local community in a bit of different manner and showcase their artfulness with one of their well known items -- coffee.
The Randolph Arts Guild is honored to partner with The Table to bring you a tasty October lecture all about that cuppa’ brew. The Table’s coffee comes from Counter Culture Coffee located in nearby Durham, North Carolina. This is your opportunity to enjoy the art of coffee along with The Table’s owners Dustie & Andy Gregson and Walt Sweeney as well as Counter Culture representatives Jonathan Bonchak and Matt McDaniel. The event starts with a short overview from Counter Culture about their passion for not only coffee but also an emphasis on community both local and around the world. Next up we will enjoy a cupping. What is a cupping? It is a coffee tasting technique used to evaluate all the deliciousness of the beverage including aroma and flavor profile (similar to a wine tasting). Finally, we will all enjoy light refreshments and what else, COFFEE compliments of the Table while sharing in a “community question and answer” session.
