Artist Bio:  Peggy Adelman’s basket career started 15 years ago when she and her husband first moved to North Carolina.  Her love for basket weaving  began about the time she registered for a basket making class at Guilford Technical Community College.  From there she joined the North Carolina Basket Makers Association and has continued to enroll in many classes and workshops from different teachers.  Five years ago, Peggy became the basket making instructor at GTCC.  She started to spread her wings even more having taught at several basket making conventions as well.  Peggy is currently responsible for scheduling and teaching the guild projects created by guild members.  As you can tell, she loves weaving baskets and helping others learn the craft.
