ASHEBORO, NC – Adults 21 and over are invited to a first-ever Halloween costume party and concert at the North Carolina Zoo Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Africa Amphitheatre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for general admission seating with chairs and blankets allowed. The Sleeping Booty Band hits the stage in concert at 6:30 p.m.

The popular group will rock the amphitheatre playing funk, R&B, rock, jazz, hip-hop, and beach music. Guests may wear their wildest Halloween costume or come as they are. The wickedly fun evening will also include craft beer, and food will be available for purchase with a wide variety of menu options. Encounters with the zoo’s live animal ambassadors are scheduled between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Complimentary Pepsi products will be available for designated drivers. Tickets are available at www.nczoo.org for $10, $22 and $30 and include alcoholic drink purchases. Additional per drink tickets are not available for purchase at this event. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
