Seagrove, NC - Five shops along the Historic Busbee Road will celebrate the Summer Solstice with refreshments, and new handmade pieces.
Pottery, jewelry, crafts and garden themed delights will be highlighted. The Solstice is a celebration of the sun and the seasons and has been a festive event for centuries. The longest day of the year is this weekend and denotes Come out Saturday; shop, have a cool drink and a bite to eat and get ready for the longest day of the year. We have the goods to make your midsummer night’s dream, magical.

Jugtown Pottery will have a wood kiln of wares in the shop, along with a variety of pottery and crafts for the home and garden. Check out our new tiles. Iced teas and berries served. Open 8:30am-7:00pm
JLK Jewelry at Jugtown will be offering some new sterling silver jewelry designs featuring her handmade pottery cabochons, glazed with Jugtown's glazes and accented with semi-precious stones, gold and/or copper.
Cady Clay Works has some special garden pieces planned for the Summer Solstice celebration. We'll be open from 9am until 6pm to take advantage of the long hours of sunshine, with special summer treats.
Studio Touya will offer pit firing demonstration in the evening. Hours are 10-6
Hickory Hill will celebrate that summer has arrived. Check out our complete line of kitchenware and serving pieces that's sure to compliment your summer entrees. Refreshments will be served. Hours are 9-7
O'Quinn Pottery will be open from 9am to 6pm, serving refreshments.
