If you drop a pin toward the center of a North Carolina map, you'll land on Randolph County, a region ripe with adventure. The city of Asheboro is best known for the North Carolina Zoo. There's also Kersey Valley in Archdale and the extensive pottery community in Seagrove, which together round out an easy weekend getaway that is sure to help cure the most epic of cabin fevers.

Recent road improvements have made it even easier to get there. The North Carolina Department of Transportation completed the US 64 Asheboro Bypass in December 2020, shaving 10 minutes off the drive. It now takes only an hour and 20 minutes to get there from Ballantyne.

The following attractions in Randolph County are extra noteworthy for their commitment to providing safe and healthy guest experiences.
