Randolph Electric Membership Corp. to Host Kickoff to National Drive Electric Week Event at the North Carolina Zoo
WHAT: Local community members and visitors of the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro are invited to learn about the clean-air benefits and cost-savings of electric vehicles on September 13, 2019. The event is a kick-off to the start of National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) taking place September 14-22.
Plug-in vehicles, along with EV chargers will be on display and EV owners and advocates will be available to share their experiences and answer questions. Local manufacturer Thomas Built Buses will have their new all-electric bus, “Jouley” on-site for attendees to tour, as well.
