ASHEBORO, NC  -  Randolph Communications Board of Directors has committed to its eighteenth straight year as signature sponsor of the NC Zoo Society’s premier annual fundraiser, Zoo To Do. As the signature sponsor, Randolph Communications pledged a $30,000 gift for Zoo To Do.

"Our Board of Directors is pleased to continue its support of the North Carolina  Zoo through a Signature Sponsorship of the Zoo Society's largest fundraising event, Zoo To Do," stated Kim Garner, CEO & General Manager.  "Our company believes in the treasure we have in our state Zoo and is proud to further the Zoo Society's and Zoo's missions and good work. Randolph County should be proud that we have such a world-class tourist destination in our backyard," Garner concluded.

Zoo To Do 2017, organized by Randolph Friends of the Zoo and the North Carolina Zoo Society, will be held on Saturday, September 23. It will feature live and silent auctions, fine cuisine and dancing with area favorite - DJ Tommy Rock. This year’s silent auction will use mobile bidding technology to add even more excitement to the event’s bidding frenzy.

All proceeds from the event help support the North Carolina Zoo’s operations and the Randolph Friends of the Zoo Employee Grant Fund.

The North Carolina Zoological Society is the private, non-profit organization that supports the North Carolina Zoo and its conservation and education initiatives.
