SEAGROVE, NC — You can find ceramic gourds, pottery pumpkins and other fall decorations each Saturday in October in Seagrove, the pottery capital of the United States.
Some pumpkins can last for a very long time, becoming keepsakes and heirlooms. Such is the case with the exquisite pottery pumpkins that can be found on the Potters’ Pumpkin Patch Trail in Seagrove.
Participating Seagrove Potters studios and shops are Seagrove Stoneware Pottery, Blue Hen Pottery, Thomas Pottery, The Triangle Studio and Crystal King Pottery.
