ASHEBORO, N.C.-Starting July 6, the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) will begin providing bus service to the North Carolina Zoo.

Riders to the zoo can catch a Route 10 Randolph Co. Express bus from the Greensboro Depot at 8:55 a.m., from South Asheboro P&R (McDowell Road) at 9:30 a.m. and arrive at the zoo at 9:45 a.m. A reverse-route bus departs the zoo at 4 p.m. The fare is $2.
