Asheboro, NC - From dinosaurs to zoo design, the North Carolina Zoo's summer camps schedule will offer kids great ways to learn about animals and the natural environment in an exciting outdoor setting.

The camp programs, beginning June 18 and running through Aug. 1, offer one-day experiences for students entering grades 1-8. This year will also feature one overnight camp for rising 4th- and 6th-graders, July 24-25.

Zoo Camp activities may include visiting park exhibits, meeting a zookeeper, creating a take-home craft, conducting experiments and playing games.
