Asheboro, NC - In preparation for the park's largest fundraiser of the year, Zoo-To-Do, Sept. 8, the North Carolina Zoo will close its North America parking lot and entrance gates on both Friday and Saturday.

Additionally, the park's North America Plaza and bridge will be closed to the public for event preparation. All guest entry and exit will be through the Africa entrance, and guest parking will be limited to the Africa parking lot.

Zoo School parking and access on Friday should be coordinated in advance with the park's Ranger staff.

Parking-lot shuttles will not operate either day.
