Asheboro, NC - Adults can be kids again for Christmas when they visit the North Carolina Zoo through December 31.
Starting Saturday, December 8, and continuing through the end of the month (except for Christmas Day when the park is closed), the zoo is offering its children's admission price of $8 to adults and seniors who contribute two cans of non-perishable food per person. All canned items collected during the month will be donated to local food banks.
Regular zoo admission is $12 for adults, $8 for children 12-and-under and $10 for seniors 62-plus. The zoo is currently operating under its winter schedule of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
