Asheboro, NC - Come out for an evening of Christmas cheer on November 14, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brightside Gallery, 170 Worth Street!  They will be featuring a trunk show by Kernersville jewelry artist, Wendi Mink, holiday music and yummy treats to nibble and sip. They will be open for the evening to give you a chance to get a jump on your holiday festivities! There is nothing quite as invigorating as a little merry-making to get the season started!

Wendi Mink is a chainmaille artist extraordinaire. Seven years ago Wendi was inspired to explore design techniques while preparing to showcase her jewelry at a fair in Lucketts, Virginia. She was introduced to the ancient art of chainmaille and was immediately smitten with both the process and the end result. Chainmaille was the earliest form of metal armor and was probably invented before the 5th century by the ancient Celts. Over time, the technique of “weaving” small metal rings of precious metals began to be used for jewelry as well. Wendi enjoys the challenge of coming up with new designs and truly enjoys custom orders

Herb N Garden will be open during this evening with their latest holiday designs, drinks and tasty refreshments! Herb N Garden is located at 170-B Worth Street, directly behind the Brightside Gallery building.

Please come and join the gang for an evening of holiday music, food, drinks, and fun at the coolest corner in town! This event is free and open to the public.
