Trinity, NC – Linbrook Heritage Estate today announced weekend holiday tours of “Christmas at Linbrook Hall.”  One of the largest homes in the southeastern United States with more than 60 rooms, Linbrook Hall is situated in the heart of North Carolina and is a Greek revival masterpiece. After entering the majestic gates and winding down more than a mile of natural forestland, one marvels in the breathtaking view of Linbrook Hall with its illuminated columns, set atop a hill where the majestic Uwharrie Mountains serve as a scenic backdrop.

Christmas is a magical time at Linbrook Hall. Amidst roaring log fires, the smell of pine boughs, mulled wine and multitudes of twinkling lights aglow, all ages will rediscover the magic of Christmas. The young and young at heart are sure to delight in the model train collection as it winds through a miniature snowy village. Enchanting candlelight tours sparkle with the romance of an epic history.

This is a rare opportunity to tour one of the largest homes in the southeastern United States, which is a part of the private estate of Linda and Jerry Neal. Jerry Neal is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of RF Micro Devices; and co-author with best-selling New York Times author, Jerry Bledsoe, of the books Fire in the Belly: Building a World-leading High-tech Company from Scratch in Tumultuous Times and Built on a Rock: A Memoir of Family, Faith and Place.

Linbrook Hall contains more than sixty rooms, many lavishly decorated for the season. The Neals have been fortunate to unleash the talents of Brian Hyde, Master Designer and recent president of the NC State Florists Association, and Joseph Gamble, a renowned specialist in home décor, to assist in decorating Linbrook Hall for this event.

Linbrook Hall is designed in the early classical revival style found most prominently in the southern states beginning in approximately 1820. It is the culmination of a six year effort and contains architectural details found in many 19th century homes and antiques collected from around the world. Linda and Jerry Neal said, “We are pleased to open Linbrook Hall in hopes that this will become an annual Christmas tradition. Our hope is that both young and old will allow us to share the joy of the season at Linbrook Hall.”

Whether planning a holiday outing with associates, friends, family or loved ones, visit Linbrook Hall to revel in the magical spirit of Christmas in this beautiful home. Fresh baked holiday treats will be served along with cider, hot chocolate and other seasonal drinks.
