Tickets are still available for the 9th Annual North Carolina Pottery Center Benefit Auction - Going, Going, Gone To Pots! Saturday, April 26th 2008, 4-8 pm in Seagrove. The auction features over one hundred fifty pieces of fine contemporary and historical North Carolina pottery.
Dr. Charles Terry Zug, author of Turners and Burners, and Mr. David Smith will serve as Masters of Ceremony. The auction donations may be viewed at www.ncpotterycenter.com. The evening is made possible through the generosity of North Carolina potters and collectors, major sponsor, First Bank with additional support from Community One Bank, BB&T, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Blackburn, Brunk Auctions, Progress Energy, and the Insurance Associates of the Triad.
During the Silent Auction 4-6 pm, White Rabbit Catering of Pinehurst will provide a light buffet. The Live Auction will be held 6-8 pm. Virgil Thomas of Able Auctions is once again donating his services.
