Seagrove, NC - Join the potters of Seagrove as they celebrate 10 years of their most popular event. This premier event kicks off Friday night Nov 17th, with a Gala, Live Auction and Potters Market. Enjoy an evening full of entertainment from the Randolph Jazz Band, AVS Catering, and Four Saints Brewing Company. This year’s collaborative auction includes a 10th-year-anniversary commemorative piece signed by the Seagrove Potters. Be one of the first 100 Gala patrons in the door and receive a swag bag with a commemorative handmade mug. The Gala admission price is $45. The Celebration of Seagrove Potters is a collector’s paradise of unique art pieces, pottery for your home decor and much more.

         The festival general admission pottery exhibition is held Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm, Nov 18th & 19th. Admission is $5 for adults and children under twelve are free. The show features potter’s market, demonstrations, children's activities and food trucks. A silent auction with pieces donated from each participating pottery will be held from 1-3 on Saturday. The festivities continue Sunday with an addition of a beer garden from 1 pm to 4 pm. Don’t miss a taste from Seagrove’s first microbrew, Ground Lion Brewing Co. Festivities are held indoors at the Historic Luck's Cannery in Seagrove. This event received the “Top Twenty Events” award from the Southeastern Tourism Society in 2016 and is one of the most spectacular pottery events in North Carolina. Approximately 5,000 people visit each year throughout the weekend. In addition to this event, many pottery shops and galleries in Seagrove, are open all weekend.

The Celebration is unique because it is a showcase of only the artists of Seagrove, an area that covers the three-county corner region of Randolph, Moore, and Montgomery counties. Over 85 of the Seagrove potters that earn their living making pottery in the local Seagrove community will be participating in the annual event. Seagrove pottery has long been known for its collectability and the Seagrove name is recognized worldwide.
