ASHEBORO — Baby boomers will remember “Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines,” a comedy from 1965 that featured many vintage airplanes from the early 1900s. While it was a big hit, the movie can’t hold a candle to what you will see at the 2015 Fly-In at the Asheboro Regional Airport on Saturday.
Taking flight at 9 a.m., the fly-in will continue until 4 p.m. (Rain date is Sunday, June 14). General admission is $10; children under 5 years old are admitted free.
