Asheboro, NC - North Carolina portrait artist, Mark Stephenson will visit with the Randolph Arts Guild on Wednesday, January 14th from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  He will discuss his passion for creating life-like portraits based on observation and skill.  This lecture event serves as the lead-up to his future figure drawing class which will also take place at the guild.  For the lecture Mark will include a demonstration of his ability by illustrating from life complete with a live model.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their own drawing materials including drawing boards and/or travel easels in order to work alongside Mark.  Attendees do not have to draw to attend.  This lecture costs $10 per each attendee.  Payment and pre-registration are required for this event and must be received by Wednesday, January 7.  Limited seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.  The lecture will take place at the Randolph Arts Guild located at 123 Sunset Avenue, in downtown Asheboro.  For more information contact the guild at (336) 629-0399.  For more information on Mark Stephenson please visit his website at: http://www.markstephensonpainting.com/ .
