ASHEBORO, NC - The North Carolina Zoo concludes its month-long "ZooFLING 2011" Saturday, April 30, featuring African dance, music, drums and storytelling in the Africa Plaza.

At 11 a.m. and again at 1 p.m., the Healing Force will entertain. Then visitors can enjoy African dance by Sugarfoote Productions at noon and 2 p.m. From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Music Explorium will feature drum-making crafts and drum circles. Also from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., storyteller Fred Motley, an event favorite, will entertain children of all ages.

All the weekend fun takes place during regular zoo hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is included in the regular zoo admission of $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62+) and $6 for children (ages 2-12).

Coca-Cola is the signature sponsor for ZooFLING and all zoo special events this year.
