It's not all glamor when you work at the zoo

Asheboro, NC - "If I Ran the Zoo" was one of my favoriteDr. Seuss books. The idea of working with exotic animals seemed like a dream come true.

And most of the people I've met who do so -- at the Greensboro Science Center and theN.C. Zoo -- confirm that it's a fascinating and rewarding job.

But it's also hard work.
