ASHEBORO, NC - This year marks Downtown Asheboro’s 44th Annual Fall Festival. On Saturday, Oct.1st and Sunday, Oct. 2nd, the streets of downtown Asheboro will fill with nearly four hundred arts & craft vendors, food vendors, and a variety of musical guests on stage. The event is coordinated by the Randolph Arts Guild and serves as both a celebration of culture and community.
After cancelling the 2015 festival due to the treat of Hurricane Joaquin, The Guild is excited to see the nostalgia of Fall Festival return. For many, aspects of the downtown event evoke fond memories of both food and fair. Artisans from Randolph County and surrounding counties will showcase handmade crafts. Over 70 food vendors are expected to participate this year. Two entertainment stages featuring live music will be featured as well as a host of other activities for kids. Booth listings and a Fall Festival map will be available on the Randolph Arts Guild website after September 15th.
Festival rules prohibit skateboards, hover boards, and bicycles. No pets are allowed. No alcohol is allowed into the festival area. Alcohol may only be consumed on the premises of restaurants which are permitted to serve it.
The Guild will have an information booth located at the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Fayetteville Street. Emergency services will be located behind CommunityOne Bank.
The event is sponsored by Deuterman Law Group, Wells Fargo, Triad Heating & Cooling, and Randolph Communications. The event is free and open to the public. Booths open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 6pm.
