Asheboro, NC - Your cute animal fix for the week comes from our own North Carolina Zoo, where three orphaned cougar cubs began exploring their exhibit Monday.
After their mother was killed by a hunter in Oregon, they were taken to the zoo there and raised until they were weaned and ready for transfer. They just finished a 30-day quarantine at the N.C. Zoo, and started spending short periods of time on exhibit.
