Tea Time: Series II Functional and Conceptual at NC Pottery Center

Seagrove, NC - The North Carolina Pottery Center is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibit, Tea Time: Series II Functional and Conceptual curated by Elsya Verdone Stockin, member of the Delhom Service League of the Mint Museum of Art and past chairman of the Potters Committee for the Potters Market Invitational. This exhibition features functional and conceptual North Carolina teapots and teacups, handmade by over 60 potters from across North Carolina. The exhibition opens February 2, 2013 and runs thru April 28, 2013. Teapots will be for sale beginning at 12:00 noon on the day of the reception. They will remain in the exhibition until it closes Saturday, April 27th, at which time they may be picked up at the North Carolina Pottery Center.

The artist reception is Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 12:00 pm til 2:00 pm. It will feature a High Tea providing visitors a chance to sample teas and light refreshments. The reception is sponsored by the North Carolina Pottery Center and is free and open to the public.
