A Day Trip to the North Carolina Zoo

I’m Fixin’ To Blogger shares her experience at the North Carolina Zoo on Labor Day Weekend.

For Labor Day weekend, David and I decided to hang around our house to catch up on our to-do lists, but we decided to take a little day trip to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, NC.  A little-known fact about David is that he loves a zoo.  Any time we visit a new city, if they have a zoo, we go.  This is all very much fair considering that I love to visit any historic site/house/area in new places.  It had been a while since we went to the NC Zoo, and I agreed to go in hopes of seeing the new baby Rhinos and also to try a new fried chicken place at the zoo.  Yes, I went to the zoo to try a new fried chicken place…
