Bush Hill Heritage Festival, one of North Carolina's premiere family-fun festivals, is held annually in downtown Archdale. This festival combines music, events, games and crafts that celebrate the history and heritage of the area. The festival began in 1986 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Quakers settling Bush Hill. Quaker heritage is proud and strong and carries with it a tradition of excellence showcased during this annual event
