The Bush Hill Heritage Festival, one of North Carolina's premiere family-fun festivals, is held annually in downtown Archdale. This festival combines music, events, games and crafts that celebrate the history and heritage of the area. The festival began in 1986 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Quakers settling Bush Hill.
