Flowering begins with small clusters that appear within weeks of bud break. The future grape clusters blossom mid-Mayreleasing a subtle fragrance . . . the essence of wine to be. Join us as we celebrate the beauty and excitement of bloomin’ wine!

12:30-2:30: Lauren Light ~ Blues/Pop/Rock
When you see this bubbly personality and energized smile you would never guess that underneath it all is a voice with such a soulful pop edge. Most compare Lauren Light’s style to a mixture of Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson and Fiona Apple all stirred together. She is making a huge splash into the music scene from being named 2012 Best Rock Female in the Carolina Music Awards, winning Kernersville Idol, getting runner up for “Go Triads” Best New Act, and runner up for 2012 Best Vocalist in “Yes Weekly.”
3:00-6:00: The Bad Racoons ~
Always vibrant and creative, The Bad Raccoons throw down with raging roots, professionalism, and funkiness! They are young folks, home-grown from the Appalachian Order and are making their own style of music. A perfect Rendition to Tradition that appeals to the masses. Cross trained Fiddle/Violin, and Guitar/Banjo can keep the party jumping.

Each artisan has incorporated a bloom into their craft…a delicate Cloisonné flower embedded in a wine stopper, blooms forever captured in note cards and prints, jewelry using wood, glass, and semi-precious stone to create the essence of a flower, … just a few ways local artisans will celebrate the blooming of the vines with us!
Admission ~ $15.00
(Includes Classic Wine Tasting & Souvenir Wine Glass)
Goat Lady Dairy Cheese trays available, or bring a picnic, buy a bottle, and ENJOY.
Seating is limited, so you might want to bring a lawn chair just in case.
It gets “Country Dark”, so bring a flashlight too!
