Run Wild 5K-Run Packets Pickup Available
Posted on 09/12/12Asheboro, NC - Participants in the North Carolina Zoo's 2012 Run Wild 5K Run/Walk will have three opportunities to pick up race packets for the upcoming race Saturday, Sept. 15, at the park.
They are: (1)Thursday, Sept. 13, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Off'n Running Sports, 5870 Samet Dr., Suite 107, High Point, N.C.; (2)Friday, Sept. 14, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Di'lishi Frozen Yogurt Bar, 405-F E. Dixie Dr., Asheboro; and (3)on race day, starting at 6:30 a.m. at the zoo's Africa Entrance bridge.
Chick-fil-A of Asheboro and Health Source Chiropractic & Progressive Rehab are signature sponsors of this year's event.
Race participants and zoo visitors should be advised that the Africa parking lot and the connector road between the two parking lots will be closed on Saturday from 7:15 a.m.-8 a.m.
The zoo is an agency of the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Dee Freeman, Secretary; Beverly Eaves Perdue, Governor.
