Visit Juma's World at the NC Zoo

Asheboro, NC - When summer came rolling in, our family decided to spend one day in Africa and one day in North America - at the North Carolina Zoo.

We checked the website and discovered a baby giraffe was on the way, sure to arrive by the time we got there.

She did. Juma dove into the world, hooves first, took a 6-foot fall and stood within her first hour.
