Jared's preferred medium is oil paint, he enjoys texture, color, and the variety of things that can be done with paint. While painting Jared tries to portray the subject, while allowing his painting process, and the qualities of the medium to show through. Jared is influenced by nature, and the power and beauty it has. "Being in nature is a spiritual, sublime experience" for Jared.
