Triad brewery named one of the 'South's Best', ready to expand operations
One of the Triad's largest breweries, just named one of the Best in the South by Southern Living magazine, is about to start a major addition to its taphouse.
Four Saints Brewing Company in Asheboro was named the 19th best brewery in the South by Southern Living.
"It’s quite an honor, given all that the South encompasses and all the great breweries in the South," said Four Saints CEO Joel McCloskey, who co-founded the brewery with head brewer Andrew Deming in 2015.
"It was a welcome surprise."
After surviving the pandemic with the help of a loyal staff and supportive community, the partners are ready to expand operations. McCloskey said they hope to begin a 2,500-square-foot expansion onto their current 5,000 SF facility, which houses the taproom and brewing operations, within the month.
