ASHEBORO, NC — That ol’ virus may be keeping us at home, but it’s not dampening resolve in the Heart of North Carolina one bit.

Located between Winston-Salem and Raleigh, The Heart of North Carolina is home to the North Carolina Zoo, Seagrove: The Pottery Capital of the USA and much more.

Tune in to the Saturday #ChatNChill Facebook Live Series at 10 a.m. this week and in the weeks to come. Grab your coffee (in a Seagrove mug, if you have one!) and log on for a dose of inspiration. The series launched two weeks ago to connect the individuals who make our destination noteworthy with locals and future guests.

On Saturday, April 18, meet Tony Wohlgemuth from Kersey Valley Attractions in Archdale. Hear the energetic owner of Spooky Woods, the scariest haunted house in North Carolina (and a USA TODAY 10 Best Award) talk about his plans for this fall and how he’s working to accommodate guests as long as we need social distancing.
