Plant Sale is On Rain or Shine at the North Carolina Zoo This Weekend
Posted on 05/09/19Asheboro, NC – The North Carolina Zoo’s Annual Plant Sale is still set for this weekend despite a rainy forecast. Guests are advised to come early and shop the sale before the predicted inclement weather begins. The sale may temporarily stop and/or close if thunderstorms develop. Cash or checks only are accepted.
The event is Saturday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the North America parking lot.
Zoo admission is not needed to shop the sale.
The Annual Plant Sale benefits the Zoo’s Horticulture Section and features many native plants and flowers.
