Evacuate to the North Carolina Zoo This Weekend

ASHEBORO, NC – Amidst the mayhem of Hurricane Matthew, evacuees will find a bright spot at the North Carolina Zoo this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Guests who identify themselves as hurricane evacuees at the Zoo’s admissions windows will be given $2 off the standard price of admission this Friday through Sunday. Regular rates will apply to all fun tickets.

The North Carolina Zoo has great compassion for those displaced by the storm this weekend and eagerly anticipates welcoming visitors from the east coast to explore the Zoo’s walking trails, 2000 animals, 52,000 plants and to discover the Zoo’s great commitment to the conservation of wild animals and wild spaces.
