ASHEBORO, NC – On Monday, June 20, 2016 at approximately 7:45 p.m. the Asheboro All-America City delegation will arrive at the Asheboro Public Works Facility parking lot located at 1312 N. The following organizations worked together to bring this coveted designation to Asheboro, including: Asheboro City Schools, United Way of Randolph County, Randolph County Partnership for Children, Boys and Girls Club of Central Asheboro, Randolph-Asheboro YMCA, North Carolina Zoo, Randolph Community College, Communities in Schools of Randolph County, Randolph County Women, Infant and Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program, Randolph County Tourism Development Authority and the City of Asheboro. The delegation also benefitted from a devoted advisory committee that helped to shape this tremendous effort.
