North Carolina Zoo Closed Until Monday, Jan. 25

ASHEBORO, N.C. – Due to the forecast for a winter storm including freezing rain
and snow, the North Carolina Zoo will be closed to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 22-24. 
The closure is to ensure that all Zoo visitors, staff and animals are safe during
inclement weather. The Zoo will reopen on Monday, Jan. 25 at 9 a.m.

Zoo visitors can always receive updates about the Zoo's daily operating status by
calling the park's toll-free number at 1-800-488-0444 or by visiting the website
www.nczoo.org.
