The North Carolina Pottery Center Presents Monthly Lecture Series on Friday April 24th 7 - 9 PM Pam & Vernon Owens of Jugtown Pottery

Seagrove, NC - Jugtown Pottery will be presenting at the North Carolina Pottery Center for the April installment of the Monthly Slide Lecture Series. Jugtown, open since 1917, is the oldest continually operating pottery in the area. Members of the Owens family will talk about the pottery’s history. They will cover the Busbee era, the Mare era, the Country Roads era, and the present, with a look at glaze and shape development and changes as the pottery evolved. Join us for a night with a Seagrove classic!

A potluck at 7 pm will begin the evening’s events, followed by the talk at 8 pm. Come on out and join us for a fun evening! For more information, call the center at (336)873-8430. This ongoing lecture series is facilitated by Josh Floyd, the Artist-in-Residence at the Pottery Center.

Location – NCPC Educational Building located behind the NCPC at 233 East Avenue, Seagrove, 27341

8-9 pm: Slideshow Presentation
