Asheboro, NC - What is a clay wall pocket and how might it add to your creative life?  Find out as the Randolph Arts Guild brings you "Clay Wall Pockets" class featuring North Carolina potter, Brooke Avery.  In this simple class students will create a multi-use ceramic wall hanging vessel.  Students will create a highly customizable wall pocket designed to help organize and accentuate your home or office wall space.  This class meets on Wednesdays, April 8 and 15.  Clay and glazes are provided.  $45 for R.A.G. members, $50 for non-members.  Payment and registration are required for enrollment.  The enrollment deadline is Wednesday, April 1.  This class is designed for ages 15 through adult and takes place at the Randolph Arts Guild located at 123 Sunset Avenue in downtown Asheboro.  For more information contact the guild at (336) 629-0399. 

Bio:

Brooke Avery is a ceramic artist and pottery instructor who grew up grew up and currently resides in Trinity, NC.  She graduated in 2008 from UNCG with a B.F.A. in Design.  Brooke teaches pottery classes at the Randolph Arts Guild and is currently a working studio artist there.  Her ceramic work can be found in Greensboro at the Center for Visual Arts and in Asheboro at Morings Fine Crafts and Brightside Gallery.  Brooke is also the 2014 Chug & Chunk Womens Triathlon Champion.
