Randolph Arts Guild Announces 32nd Annual Juried Arts Show

Asheboro, NC - The Randolph Arts Guild announces plans to hold its 32nd Annual Juried Arts Show. Artists may deliver their entries on Friday, May 30th (10am - 5pm) and Saturday, May 31st(10am - 2pm). The selected entries will be exhibited during the month of June in the Sara Smith Self Gallery at Moring Arts Center, 123 Sunset Ave. in downtown Asheboro. 

Steve Cozart is an artist and educator with over twenty years of professional experience.  Steve Cozart is a North Carolina native and graduate of East Carolina University's School of Art and Design. He has taught art students of all ages for Guilford County Schools, The Center for Visual Arts, and Theater Art Galleries. Steve is currently focused on freelance illustration, producing fine art, and  private commissions.  Cozart is know for skill and prowess as with figurative and portraiture works. As is the tradition, for an entry fee, $20 RAG members $25 for non-members, each artist may submit up to three current pieces of their work for review by the juror. The juror will select at least one piece by each artist to be exhibited. Cash prizes will be given for Best in Show ($200), First Place ($150), Second Place ($100.00) and Third Place ($50.00). The show is open to all artists working in any media.  Artists with very large pieces or works requiring special installation should call the Randolph Arts Guild in advance of submission 336-629-0399.  

An Opening Reception will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd from 5:30 - 7:30pm. The public is welcome to attend.
