Seagrove, NC - Chocolates last for minutes - Pottery lasts a lifetime!

Has the January chill given you cabin fever? Treat your Valentine to a beautiful country drive in the Westmoore community, south of Seagrove. On Saturday February 8th, join the Potters of Busbee Road as they host their annual Valentine celebration. Enjoy refreshments and festively attired shops while perusing the season's new pottery creations. A wide selection of pottery and other fine crafts are available for purchase, along with treats to sample and new ideas as you prepare for Valentine’s Day.

BEN OWEN POTTERY will offer Chinese Red and Plum glazes.

STUDIO TOUYA will have special mugs, tea cups and tea bowls.

CHRIS LUTHER POTTERY features Flambe and Shino glazes and an afternoon NC wine tasting.

MILL CREEK FORGE will be stocked with iron ware in heart designs.

HICKORY HILL POTTERY invites you to check out their selection of handmade utilitarian wares.

O'QUINN POTTERY offers heart-shaped pottery and "I Love You" mugs.

KEITH MARTINDALE POTTERY will have gifts for your sweetheart.

CADY CLAY WORKS features new jewelry designs: earrings by local art teacher Pat Yow and pins by Beth Gore.

"ORIGINAL" OWENS POTTERY will be stocked with their Signature "Red" glaze.

JUGTOWN POTTERY will feature pieces in Reds and Lavender, along with felted pins and heart sachets by Bayle Owens.

Seagrove Potters of Historic Busbee Road are eleven shops, including three museums, a jeweler, a blacksmith, a weaver and a wide variety of other crafts, all in less than a three mile scenic drive, where pottery has been made continuously for over 100 years. There is something for everyone on your list in the shops starting on Busbee Road at Pottery Highway 705 and ending at Jugtown Road.
