Promoting Pottery

Asheboro, NC — Lindsey Lambert, N.C. Pottery Center director, outlined how the organization plans to utilize a $130,000 grant at Wednesday’s meeting of the Randolph County Tourism Development Authority meeting.

Lambert, a Randleman native, has been in the position of director for six months. He told the board the center was awarded a $130,000 grant in December from the Windgate Charitable Foundation, a private charitable foundation based in Arkansas. The Windgate Charitable Foundation is well-known for its support of institutions and programs which focus on crafts and craft education.
