Asheboro Downtown Farmers' Market Season to Begin

Asheboro, NC - The Asheboro Downtown Farmers' Market will officially open for the season on Saturday, May 4, but eager shoppers can take advantage of two special pre-season dates. The market will be open on Saturday, April 20 and 27 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During the regular market season, May 4 - October 26, the market is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Two special event days will be held this year. Free strawberry shortcake will be available on May 11 for Strawberry Day and free peach ice cream will be available on July 13 for Peach Day. Both giveaways will run from 10 a.m. - noon, or while supplies last.
