Circa Gallery Hosts Valentine's Day Trunk Show

ASHEBORO, NC - Have you ever wondered how artists find their passion ? While working at a bridal shop, North Carolina artist Carrie Magill saw a need for high quality jewelry that was reasonably priced.

Carrie took a beading class and learned how to make the basics. After moving on from the bridal shop she continued to bead and try different types of jewelry creations. Carrie has expanded her use of materials to design more elaborate pieces.

Using only quality materials to make a piece that is wearable, yet lasts. Sterling silver, freshwater pearls, and semi precious stones are her preferred materials. She enjoys searching for beads and findings that add a little flair to her jewelry. Her works have a vintage yet whimsical look. Carrie loves to challenge herself and thinks "that as an artist gets more experienced or tries different materials it shapes their work."

The trunk show will take place Saturday February 11, 2012 from 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m at Circa Gallery. Carrie will be available to discuss her work with the public.
