'Eggstravaganza' draws record crowd to North Carolina Zoo

Asheboro, N.C. - An Easter Saturday event that features animals playing with papier-mache eggs drew its largest crowd in 14 years to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro.

Zoo officials said that 10,681 people attended the "Egg-Stravaganza," breaking the record of 10,437 set in 1995.
