Asheboro, NC – The Heart of North Carolina Visitors Bureau, the official destination marketing organization for the Randolph County Tourism Development Authority, is excited to announce the completion of their recent office move. The HNCVB moved from its location at the 1909 Randolph County Courthouse Building at 145 Worth Street to 500 Albemarle Road, Asheboro, NC, and will reopen to the public in the new building on Monday, January 13, 2020.

The new office space houses six of the TDA’s 16-member staff and features a new Board of Director's meeting room where monthly TDA meetings will be held, on-site parking, and outdoor signage space. Board and staff members hope the new location will elevate brand awareness to local citizens, travelers, area media, and members of the Randolph County hospitality community.

“We are excited to relocate to our new, larger office building,” commented David Caughron, Chairman of the Board. “This move represents a significant milestone for our organization. The new building better accommodates our team and enables us to provide industry-leading support and services to our visitors, partners and stakeholders, and the local community. The additional space will also help drive innovation in the ever-evolving tourism and hospitality industry.”

The facility features a technology-enabled conference/training room where staff can collaborate with colleagues, consumers, partners, and offsite employees. A new digital sign will be installed in the coming weeks. After the completion of the sign installation and new landscaping, the TDA will hold a ribbon-cutting and Business After Hours in February.

“The new facility reflects the innovative culture of our industry,” said Tammy O’Kelley, Chief Executive Officer of the TDA. “After a decade of continuous growth, we are excited to see what’s next for Randolph County’s tourism industry.”
