The Celebration of Seagrove Potters is a collector’s paradise of unique art pieces, pottery for your home decor and much more.  The main pottery auction will begin online, and bidding opens to the public on October 15th, 2019. To view and bid early on the auction pieces visit our website at www.DiscoverSeagrove.com.

The festival general admission pottery exhibition is held on Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm, Nov 23rd, and 24th. Admission is $6 for adults and children under twelve are free. Tickets available at the door. The show features potter’s market, demonstrations, children's activities, and food trucks. A silent auction with pieces donated from each participating pottery will be held from 1-3 on Saturday. The festivities continue Sunday with an addition of a beer garden from 1 pm to 4 pm and a live jazz band. Don’t miss a taste from Seagrove’s first microbrew, Ground Lion Brewing Co.

All festivities are held indoors at the Historic Luck's Cannery in Seagrove. This event received the “Top Twenty Events” award from the Southeastern Tourism Society in 2016 and is one of the most spectacular pottery events in North Carolina. Approximately 5,000 people visit each year throughout the weekend. In addition to this event, many pottery shops and galleries in Seagrove, are open all weekend.

The Celebration is unique because it is a showcase of only the artists of Seagrove, an area that covers the three-county corner region of Randolph, Moore, and Montgomery counties. Over 50 of the Seagrove potters that earn their living making pottery in the local Seagrove community will be participating in the annual event. Seagrove pottery has long been known for its collectability and the Seagrove name is recognized worldwide.
